Welcome to Sitges
'Where love shines bright'
The jewel of the Mediterranean coast, just south of Barcelona, is Sitges. This is a town that radiates charm, creativity, and difference. With its winding cobblestone streets and golden beaches, Sitges is more than just a picturesque destination - it's a place where love can be celebrated in all its forms.

Long known as a sanctuary for artists, free spirits, and the LGBTQ+ community, Sitges offers a warm welcome to everyone who visits. Its colourful culture, open-minded atmosphere, and breath-taking natural beauty makes this region the perfect choice for our wedding.

To us, this embodies all the feelings of home. We have been coming to Sitges for many years, each time is an enriching experience and we have met people here we are proud to call friends. We especially love the wine, the parties and the fact that families like us can fit in and stand out all at once. There is no better place to dance under the stars.

Our favourite town offers a magical backdrop for this big gay love story. Here, every day is a fiesta!
In Sitges, all types of love aren’t just accepted, they’re embraced.

Travel
Sitges is about 35 km (22 miles) southwest of Barcelona and easily accessible by train (approx. 40 minutes), car, or bus.

Most visitors fly into Barcelona Airport, but Reus and Girona are also close by. From Barcelona Airport you can get a Garraf Bus directly to Sitges. Alternatively there is a train, with one change, taxis or pre-bookable airport transfers.

Once there, Sitges is incredibly walkable. We’ve hired cars in the past but there’s really not much need unless you are going much further afield. If you are staying in the town you may want to get the little train the goes on the road from one end of Sitges to the other. Great fun!

Please note that the wedding ceremony itself is in a nearby area called Cunit. Some guests will choose to find accommodation there. The wedding venue is remote, so guests will need to get a taxi to Masia San Antonio (Cunit). There will be courtesy vehicles for your return journey following the wedding ceremony.

Accommodation and the Region
We recommend booking hotels or rentals well in advance. There are some higher end hotels like Sabàtic, Eurostars or The Me. Alongside this there are many more affordable options and we’ve been known to stay in apartment rentals and Air B&Bs which can be found throughout Sitges. Further afield there are some stunning villas available to rent.

Some guests will choose to stay in Cunit, Villanova or elsewhere but we really recommend Sitges due to the array of things to do during your break. For active people there is paddleboarding, volleyball, kayaking, sailing, jet skiing and really good cycle routes throughout and beyond the town.

We have arranged a special rate for our wedding guests at our favourite hotel; The Sabatic. Please click this link to find out more;
